Registration

We offer a number of different registration methods to meet the needs of both individuals with single registrations and groups or companies with multiple participants.

 

If you are required to take a FIRST AID Course as a requirement for a business, office or factory, please ensure you review our downloadable Provincial Minimum First Aid Training & Kit Requirements PDF.

Course Selection

Our PUBLIC Classes are for individuals while PRIVATE Classes -or- COMMERCIAL Accounts Training are for groups of 8 or more persons. You may also choose a BLENDED Course if the type of course you are interested is offered. Our ONLINE Courses are mainly Occupational Health & Safety related courses.

Payment

Payment for courses can be made:

 

  • In person with cash, money order, debit or credit card during business hours (Mon - Fri 8:30 am to 4:30 pm)

  • Over the phone by credit card or debit visa

  • Online with an account at www.SJA.ca


Registration for courses are accepted until the class reaches capacity, early registration is advised to avoid disappointment. St. John Ambulance reserves the right to cancel any classes in which the minimum registration is not received or for other reasons as required. Every effort will be made to notify all registrants in the event that a class is cancelled. 

Administrative Fees (Including Cancellations and Transfers)

Registrants who withdraw from the class 5 days prior to class commencement may make an application for a refund. A 10% administration fee is deducted on all refunds for cancellations by students. An administration fee of $10 is applied per application to transfer classes. 

Certification Info & Reprints

St. John Ambulance provides certificates for courses upon successful completion. Reprints are available for $15 + Tax. See Certification Info & Reprints page for more information. Mandatory attendance to all sessions is required and students are evaluated on practical skills as well as on a written multiple choice quiz. Verbal tests are available by request. First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years. It is recommended that CPR certificates are renewed annually.
