St. John Ambulance Advanced Medical First Responder (MFR) volunteers attend countless public events across York Region, Ontario to provide basic and advanced first aid when emergencies occur. Our volunteers provide first response casualty care necessary to save a life, prevent  further injury or provide comfort until emergency medical assistance arrives.

St. John Ambulance York Region Branch brings awareness that gum balls and hard candy could be a choking hazard and giving away a FIRST AID KIT valued at $19.95 for two lucky winners who guess the correct amount! Enter using our QR CODE on our poster, through a posted LINK shared on our social media or by BALLOT in person at one of our events! Deadline for guess submissions is on NOVEMBER 15th, 2022 at 12:00 noon. Winners will be emailed directly and their FIRST NAME will be announced on our St. John Ambulance York Region  FB / TW / IG social  media  accounts.

Participants must be residents of York Region to Qualify; a limit of 3 guesses per contest, per month.

St. John Ambulance's Youth Programs are structured health-oriented programs that provides young people with opportunities for social, educational and personal development through training, local community volunteering service, leisure activities and participation at special events. Activities include First Aid, Health Care training, community service, camping and recreational events.

Improving lives on a daily basis, St. John Ambulance THERAPY DOG Program brings joy and comfort to the sick, lonely and to those in need of a friendly visit. This community service is delivered by Therapy Dog teams who visit hospitals, retirement residences, care facilities, schools, and universities. Our four-legged volunteers are always greatly appreciated.
